  • I was one of 37 people to revive a mentorship with a published author in the Irish Writer’s Centre’s National Mentoring Programme.

    The National Mentoring Programme is an opportunity for selected writers across the island of Ireland to receive sustained creative and professional mentoring from an established Irish writer of their choosing.

  • My debut novel appeared on this competition’s longlist.

  • To celebrate Culture Night 2023, O’Brein’s Press ran the Pitch Perfect Competition. This was an opportunity for selected writers to pitch their manuscripts to a member of the O’Brein Press editorial team. I successfully took part in this event and my manuscript was accepted for consideration.

  • I was one of three associate members chosen to speak at the Irish Writer’s Centre 2023 Christmas Party. I shared the stage with several other professional and associate members and Booker Prize winner Anne Enright

  • I won a place on the Northern Soul Roadshow via the Irish Writers Centre. The NSR is specifically developed to showcase the work and craft of writers whose work illuminates the varied and diverse experiences of people from the North of Ireland and those who call it home. This culminated in a live reading of my work alongside the other participants and Booker Prize winner Anna Burns.
